Bruce Willis > Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel isn't bad, but he isn't very good either.
I'd say he's just above average :/

I thought he was pretty good in fast and furious, even though those movies weren't that great they were pretty different (as in the culture of them with the asian's and such). There was always some kind of interesting thing going on reguardless of how bad the acting was.
So in other words, he was in a good/interesting movie, but his acting was bad. I dunno ill prolly edit this later when im less tired and make sense

I've really been into watching a ton of movies lately, so what are some of your favorite movies? Though I love comedy movies I'm not really wanting to watch them atm, so preferably something like science fiction/fantasy/action/adventure/drama.

The prestige, inception, planet of the apes 1 and 2, 12 monkeys, Gamer, uhm google the rest, but these for right now are pretty cool/good.

all nolan movies, most tarentino movies, umm Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, the Departed, lotr, star wars, Indiana Jones, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, there are more amazing movies. I suck at making favorite lists.
The only favorite list I can make is directors and even that I can bring it down to 5 and then I have no order. In no particular order 1. Martin Scorsese 2. David Fincher 3. Christopher Nolan 4. Steven Spielberg 5. Quentin Tarantino

YOU put planet of the apes 2 and gamer on the same list as planet of the apes 1 and inception WTF is wrong with you Wow, just wow, you need to be stabbed in the face with a rusty butter knife repeatedly, until your brain is less damaged then it is right now

How did you come to that conclusion lol. I just wanted to point out that I like Nolan's movies over Tarantino's. Just an opinion though.
You cant compare Nolan and Tarantino Well, you can, but it would be stupid to do so They have different styles and both are good at his style as the other is at his

Heh, I got to see reel steel a week before it came out. But sadly the movie blew. There is so many things wrong with the movie I'm not going to bother naming them. It seems like the audience they were shooting for had no brain, oh well.
I'd give it a 5/10 - but I'd watch it ONCE because of all the cool graphics in it - and it is slighly funny (slighly).
Spoiler:
If you're wondering about the back story here it is lol. Some girls in the dorms thought it would have been a good idea to have a super smash bros. tournament. So there was like 30 people who went and it was pretty fun - free pizza - free soda - super smash. The winner of the tournament got a free chipolte and the runner up and winner got tickets to real steel before it was released. I saw it a whole week early I FELT SO SPECIAL

Gamer was terrible, how did that kid have control of the main character I mean did the kid buy the rights to use him How does this concept work as a video game, it doesnt make sense
Spoiler:
And he pisses into a gas tank after drinking alcohol, not only does it work as fuel for the car but it sobers him up Piss does not work that way
The only reason i kept watching to the end was because of Michael C. Hall, his scenes were the only good part of that movie Especially this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQHPhIk5hoI
If you want a movie thats sort of like Gamer, but alot better, watch The Running Man Gamer actually stole some stuff right from that movie
As for Nick cage He has 3 settings 1. Disney 2. Cooky 3. Completely out of his mind insane
He sucks in setting 1 but is awesome in setting 3 Watch him in Face-Off, Adaptation, or Raising Arizona

Real Steel did the same thing Gamer did almost exactly.... except, gamer was a better movie lol. Reel Steal could almost be a fucking family movie...
But yeah, there was obvious holes on Gamer that I didn't like, but the concept they were shooting for was pretty cool, and like you said pat there were some good scenes lol

Nicolas Cage as an actor is pretty good, but he must be the worst at choosing movies.

this may just be my opinion but here i'm going to list all the movies ive seen nicholas cage in where i thought he acted badly (not that it was a bad movie, some were good except for his acting)
The Sorcerer's Apprentice Kick-Ass Knowing all of the National Treasure movies Next Ghost Rider The family man gone in sixty seconds hes also voiced in several animated movies which i found his voice acting to be sucky (g-force, the ant bully, astro boy)
i just watched horrible bosses and i would say it's a 7/10 it was mildly funny (would probably be lower but, well, Jennifer Aniston.)

He was better in his older movies. I'm just saying that he's not garbage, but he's better then Vin Diesel

i liked gamer a lot mostly because i didn't know anything about it going into it, so it was a really nice surprise i should really stop watching any previews and just go to stuff other people think i'll like
also how did no one call pat out on his reaction to amaz?
oh yeah but this is about movies i dont think anyones said any pixar movies but everyone knows wall-e is the best pixar, with a runner up going to ratatouile (especially if you're high or just really hungry) so i'll just go with pixar shorts they're all really good but my favorites are one man band and jackalope and the alien one

He was miscast for those roles, especially Ghost Rider The character he played in Kick-Ass was as close to the role as he plays well, but it didnt work there because the character had a daughter And even though he wasnt that great in them, the movie didnt suffer because he wasnt that great, like you said He was mediocre in those
As for voice acting, most normal actors dont make good voice actors Voice acting is alot different to get right then live action acting
