Major Bot Update

The bot is now up to date with official ghost

You can reconnect to the bot after being disconnected by using GProxy++
You can dl GProxy directly from here: http://gproxyplusplus.googlecode.com/files/gproxyplusplus_ptr_windows_1.0.zip
Read the read me and follow the instructions on how to use it
It works with any ghost 17.0 bot


New commands:

!note | sets a note for a player, will say it when they join the game
!nr | deletes a note
!dlmap | downloads a map from the web, you must use a direct link to the map in order for the bot to dl it
!silence | stops you from being able to read anyones chat, makes it easier to read save codes
!addip | add your ip to the bot, adding your ip will allow you to join a game from LAN, which should reduce delay for you
!delip | deletes your ip from the bot

Fixes:

!rm and !rmp can now take a new name, and they also can only be used in game
"Time jitter" should no longer contribute to lag
Swap, open, and close behavior is changed
Other minor stuff


!dlmap:

If you want to use !dlmap you cant have it as just http://www.epicwar.com/maps/127894/
You need to copy the link location of the map file where it says download then type !dlmap and paste the link
So http://www.epicwar.com/maps/127894/ would be
!dlmap http://www.epicwar.com/maps/download/127894/fded92746f87e5cf33bb6a742b59efe24b9c1f93/Mini%20Wars%20v1.0b.w3x

I like the DLmap feature can be veyr uselful

Abuse of the !dlmap command will result in loss of admin permanently

It doesnt look like you were trying to abuse it, you just downloaded a map that had % symbols in it

Right now only %20 is handled by the bot
I didnt think other % symbols would come up

Ill look up some common % symbols and will add those to the bot so the bot doesnt freak out when it encounters them

In the mean time dont dl maps with !dlmap that have %## in the link unless its just %20

I updated it to accept all standard chatacters now
The update will be applied when the bot comes back online

Non standard characters will still not work
Non standard characters are the type of things you cant type normally on an english keyboard
Non english characters wont be accepted

The amount of time it will take me to type in all non standard and non english characters will be too long
I may change it into a loop in the future to allow all characters

Some tiny quick fixes:

* !rm and !rmp should work again, they also include the ability to name the game now instead of just the last used name, you can still use the last name used if you want by using the cmd like you have been

*!dlmap now has more distinct msgs to the successful or unsuccessful dl of a map


Larger update:

*!esg now searches similar to the way !dm searches, you should be able to load replays for your save games easier now, replays are saved to the bot by game name, so if you saved in a game called tmmm using !esg tmmm will give you several results, pick the one with the most recent date and time
If you intend to save i suggest making your gn more unique then something as common as tmmm as there may be several 100 tmmm replays and you may not be able to find it easily

*New command: !dlsg
When you save a game the bot cant keep its own copy so until now the only way to save games on the bot was if i was in the game with you
You can now upload your save game to mediafire and then tell the bot to dl the savegame from that link
Once the bot has it you can use !lsg, !esg, and !hsg to load up your save and host it



If you find any bugs with anything, or want any features list them here
You should do that before i get bored with the bot again

The LAN doesnt work nOOb

or maybe im just a fail tester lol

It may have to do with the !addip cmd not actually adding the ip where its supposed to

Ive manually added your ip amaz and it should work now


We tested it again and it works, but it looks like it might have some more bugs that i didnt forsee as i couldnt join the game after amaz joined it

It seems the addip cmd isnt adding ips to the right place, or in the right way
So for now dont use the !addip or !delip cmds
When i do fix the !addip cmd i may have to remove the !delip cmd because it might be impossible to delete them without being able to see all of them

So if you want to be able to join from lan and have reduced latency whisper your ip to clan_tmmm[bot] or pm it to me here
You can get your ip from www.whatsmyip.com

This isnt some scam to get your ip to hack you or w/e, i already have all your ips
Having you tell me your ip just saves me the time of looking it up

If your ip changes it will have to be updated with your new ip
If it suddenly stops working then its because your ip changed

Because your joining from lan you can change your name to anything
You only get admin with a name that has admin
If i see people abusing it by impersonating someone else your ability to join from lan will be taken away, and your admin may be removed as well
If your not an admin but abused admin with someone elses name by joining from lan youll just be banned from the bot forever

I still havent figured out a good way to regulate/restrict people that join from lan

Im considering this lan feature as an alpha test, and the whole thing may get dropped from the bot depending on how it goes
Usually i wouldnt do that, but i have no way to test it at all by myself
