Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Okay, I don't know if anyone else has posted this, but I guess I'll try to start a Modern Warfare 2 thread thingy... haha. So yeah COD MW2 for any system.

Talk about achievements, sweet levels, new features, spoilers if you wish (last level sweetness), any cool screen shots, videos, anything you like/dislike, etc.

Basically anything MW2!

So I have it for PS3, probably going to get it for 360 later and then buy a live account, which I've trying to do for years.

I played it for PC
It was awesome

I would be surprised if it wasnt the game of the year

The airport mission surprised me
When the one guy said "remember, no russian" while on the elevator i assumed we were infiltrating some american place
Then the elevator opened and i realized we were heavily armed and not hiding our weapons so i figured we were going to take hostages
Then they just open fire on a huge group of civilians and Im like WTF?!
So I just started killing all the innocent civilians to
When I saw russian writing on everything i was thinking maybe makarov planed to frame america for a terrorist attack on russia, why else would he say not to speak russian
But i didnt think that plan would work, cause how would they frame america, it didnt make sense
Then he kills you to make it work, which i didnt see coming

That whole mission is one of the best missions in any game ever
Although I wonder what happens if you answer no to that question that asks you if you want to play the mission that offends people (im assuming the airport mission is the mission they refer to in that question)
Because if you dont play that mission, your missing a big part of the story

The parts in washington was awesome
I liked when the nuke caused the EMP to make all the power fail and drop everything out of the sky, and how your laser sight and night vision was effected

I felt really bad for roach and ghost when shepherd betrays and kills them
And i loved the mission in the airfeild when everyone is against you, even your previous allies

The ending sequence was really good
When shepards boat drove into the helicopter i thought he was going to get away and i was pissed
I was ready to try to drive the boat off the waterfall and into his helicopter
The the fight at the very end, i thought it was over when he was up against the car and i stabbed down at him, then he catches my arm then kicks my ass, stabbing me in the chest
Since they were killing off alot of your main character I thought for sure Soap was going to die, and i really like soap from the first game, i was just hitting buttons hoping to move or do anything
Then price saves you at the last minute, i still thought we were going to die, cause shepherd was kicking price's ass to
During their whole fight i was like, if this were me i would trying to pull this knife out of my chest to kill him, so when it lets you do that im tapping the button like crazy trying to get it out
Finally I got it out and throw it at his face, killing him

The best, and probably longest (if you include the boat section) ending sequences ever
Way better then any cut scene or ending of any other game
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time

Ill try to go back, take some pics, and post them here, i shouldve taken some while playing, but i was so wrapped up in the gameplay and story that i didnt think of it

I actually haven't beaten the game yet, I'm waiting to get 360 one so i can get used to/play that one. So i stopped reading after your airport level, lol. so yeah the airport level was one of the sickest/awesome levels like ive ever played in a FPS game.

IDK the whole story so i cant really argue this too much, but i think the american (you) should have lived before going into the van, idk. maybe it was needed for him to die, but i think it would have been cool to have an extended undercover mission; but i guess that would get too out of call of duty style (just killing waves of soldiers)...

I really like one of the first missions where your climbing the icy mountains (forget where it is, didn't pay attention to story bcuz it was PS3 one and im waiting for xbox). I love how you get to see/play along side SOAP, gives story like a history and connection and not just an all new story out the blue. But yeah, the stealthy, metal gear feel in that level is appealing. ALSO the snow mobile riding was amazingly fun and pretty easy to play:

I thought the Delayed board in the airport was funny
Screenshots dont do the snowmobile part well, it looks like Im standing still at parts but im actually moving really fast

I didnt take any screenshots from the stealth part of the snow level because they all came out looking like crap with all the white from the snow storm

I suppose you dont have to shoot the civillians yourself, but thats no fun
Its you and 4 other guys, so you could just let the others kill everyone while you just hung back
But the others in your group might be suspicious that your not killing with them

I actually didnt try to stop the other 4 from killing everyone, I dont think you can though

Yeah your right. I was in the airport and i turned a corner and accidentally shot one of the terrorists with me, they automatically started yelling "Traitor!" and killed me instantly, lol.

my friend said something disturbing to me about that level, he asked me if i shot the pregnant woman in the stomach. then he described how he went around knifeing people and stuff. <----lol @ massive dump
