The color code used by wc3 is called a hexadecimal color code
Hexadecimal is a numbering system 0-F (like 1-10)
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F (the letters represent 10 11 12 13 14 and 15 in our normal number line)
When you count to F (which is 15 in our normal way of counting) it goes to 10 for the next number (which is 16 in the normal way)
So If we were counting to 20 in our normal way its 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
In hex its 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F 10 11 12 13 14
Math works the same way
Normal way: 20-10=10 | Hex way: 14-A=A
What does all the have to do with colors and wc3?
Well its important to know for this next part
A Hex color code is made up of 3 parts, red green and blue
As an example lets take a hex code that looks like
FF0000It breaks up like this FF|00|00
FF is red 00 is green and 00 is blue
FF = 255 = 11111111
00 = 0 = 00000000
FF (or 255) is the highest you can have because each color is made up of 8 bits (1 byte which is what those 8 1's show)
Since red is at full and the other 2 colors are at 0 the color you see will be pure red
Using FF in 1 of the colors and 00 in the others you get a pure color, mixing FF in different colors gives you a pure mix of those colors
FFFF00 = Pure Yellow FF00FF = Pure Purple00FFFF = Pure TealIf you need a lighter color change the 00's to 88 or something higher, like
a lighter teal or if you need
a darker teal change the FFFF part to something lower like CCCC
For pure red green or blue, change the 1 set of FF to somthing lower for
darker colors, or the 2 sets of 00 higher for something
lighterBlack is no color or 000000,
White is all colors or FFFFFF, changing it to something like AAAAAA will give you a
