Harry Potter

Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality is looking like a promising read.

that's because its fan fiction! well sorta. it shares the category with some pretty bad stuff... but this one is different... no really
the author of the story is a well recognized modern philosopher (a rare breed) and it shows. the basic premise of the story is

"What would have happened in Harry Potter if Harry Potter wasn't a fucking idiot"
I'm only a few chapters in but I'm really enjoying how the author is telling the tale from that basic premise.

Theres no other premise i can think of that would make me want to read it more than that.
