Heart of the Swarm has a (expected) release date and looks pretty cool

Im not getting hots
Sc2 was really disappointing to me, multiplayer wise
I might get it in several years when wol, hots, and lotv are in a battle chest for $20

If i cant play the singleplayer campaign for free when it comes out i might end up buying it when its on sale just because i do like the singleplayer story and would like to continue it

thats actually the same mentality ive got. if youre not getting hots does that mean no sc2 clan?

Does sc2's battlenet even support clans yet?

On a side note, I hate that think because I barely understand what I'm doing anyways. They made the GUI complicated. I can't figure out how to do anything, not even a simple patrol. Someone want to do the basic triggers for me so I can learn from that? I want to make a maze but I kinda suck at triggering.

when hots comes out, someone should get it and make a tmmm clan.
then demand pat hand over the sc2 clan leader group thus making pat's name white

My name would become whatever color the SC2 shaman group names are since thats the next highest tier group that im in (since im the admin of that group)
But then i would give the sc2 clan leader admin over that group so i would end up as green

Ive been meaning to change the way groups work though since the wc3 clan is done
The problem is i have no idea how the new system would work because theres no easy way to group people together, and theres really no point to the groups any more except for 5 sections that are hidden/shown based on what group your in, which no one uses any way

idea: Everyone but pat gets cool colored names. Sounds like a good system to me. Im certain Seren agrees with me.

That trailer seems spoilerrific
From it you can infer raynor dies, valerian mengsk dies, and what bacon said in his spoiler
Im not using spoiler tags for raynor or mengsk since i dont know either of those things, im only speculating from the vengeance trailer
I will be very disappointed if that turns out to be true though

The building is similar to the one in the prototype, but the mutalisk laser thing isnt really
I watched the prototype again and it might be real, mengsk says vengeance in it and the trailer is called vengeance, and it takes place in the same area that a lot of the trailer is in
The ending is probably different now though
If it is real i will be disappointed especially if it ends exactly like what it showed, id rather have raynor die than have that ending
We will see in about 2 weeks

blizz likes to do a lot of misleading in their cinematics, especially their trailers
hopefully the implications in the trailer are just that

I just watched HOTS ending..... And its like REALLY disapointing

I started playing HOTS campaign (i cant play the multiplayer)

Its really good, they put a lot more work into the singleplayer than i thought
I love how you can evolve your units, and the new unit types are pretty creative
I went with the swarmling and later you can get an ability that revives 15 lings every 30 seconds (its automatic and has no cost) so the number of units you can get feels like a true zerg army
And they really improved the mission variety, the one where you start as just a larva is awesome i wish it was longer
Its better than wol

Ill talk about the story when i finish the game


If you have legit wol you can play hots campaign by using version 2.0.5 in offline mode and loading up a save from the first mission of hots, and then restarting the mission so you see the opening movie and start the game from the beginning

Also ive put everything talking specifically about HOTS single player into this 1 topic, rather than having it spread out across 3 topics, so re read this topic
And only post single player related hots stuff to this topic, if you want to talk about multiplayer stuff use the "will you get hots" topic

I'll prolly be picking up HotS sometime next week.. don't get out often
