This is the best horror game released in a long time, the only game released since 2005 that actually scares me, and the only game released ever that scared me without using jump scares (though it does have jump scares)
You start in a castle, with amnesia, you find a note that you wrote before giving yourself amnesia that says you gave yourself amnesia on purpose (but doesnt explain why) and tells you that you need to kill someone (but doesnt explain why)
The rest of the game is solving puzzles while discovering answers about yourself and your situation as you make your way to kill the guy you told yourself to kill
The atmosphere is great, the story is good, the mechanics are great (some parts are frustrating after the first 5 mins, especially when water is involved), and the puzzles make sense (but arent easy to solve)
Its not all puzzle solving and exploring, there are a few platforming parts, and a couple stealth parts to
This game isnt for everyone though
If you dont like games where you have to solve long puzzles you wont like this game
If you dont like games where you cant shoot everything you wont like this game
If you dont like games that are paced slower then normal you wont like this game
This game may not be scary unless you are in the right frame of mind, the game isnt played to be won, its played to be experienced
The game should be played with no lights on in complete darkness for the best effect
