Torchlight

Torchlight is like diablo 2
In fact some of the people that worked on diablo 2 worked on torchlight

Theres 3 classes:
The Destroyer, wich is a primarily melee hero but can have magic, hes like the barbarian, and paladin from diablo 2 depending one what skills you pick
The Alchemist, which is the mage type, hes like the sorceress, necromancer, and druid depending on which skills you pick
The Vanquisher, which is the ranged archer type, shes like the amazon and assassin

The game plays similarly to diablo 2, but theres alot of new stuff and improvements that were made
Multiple skills are easier to use but are still used in the same way as they were in diablo 2
Theres a fame system for when you kill named monsters and complete quests, more fame means more skill points
The skills dont require you to go in order when you pick them
You can find skill scrolls that you can use to learn extra skills, no mater what your class is
You get a permanent pet, either a dog or a cat, you can choose which one you want, it can hold items for you, go back to town and sell the items you give to it so you dont have to keep going back all the time, it can fight for you, and it can transform into other stuff making it stronger for a certain amount of time

Overall its a good game, and if you liked diablo 2, or if your looking forward to diablo 3, youll like this

It took me about 8 mins from the time i started dling to the time i started playing, so its not hard to do
Thats the full game, but it limits you to 2 hours of play time
Its easy to get around, and if you like the game and want to play for more then 2 hours pm me and ill tell you how

Forgot to mention, this game is singleplayer only
I think a multiplayer is planned but it wont be out for months, by then diablo 3 will be out and it wont matter anyway

I didnt mention that in my post though because i didnt think anyone would know what it was, since i didnt even know what it was

Currently Im playing wc3 with you guys, torchlight (but i havent played since i made this topic), diablo 2 (twice with ach), borderlands (havent played in over a month but i intend to go back to it), dead space extraction (havent played for about a week because my game froze and i lost like an hour of progress, but ill eventually go back to it and finish it, its almost done), and taikodom (which sucks and wasted like an hour of my time)

You loser pat! the only game iv played and havnt finished (not counting games i played for half an hour intervals at a time in multyplayer at friends houses) is sc1, and diablo, but i intend on finishing diablo very soon.

im 7 years into war3 and i havent finished the campaign, and i dont plan on doing it. what a waste of time. lol

lol campaignes are kinda fun, but ur not online witch makes it kinda lame

im ok with campaings, but i always go online first

meh its ok the campain but all i use are cheats -greedisgood 9999999 -warpten -iseedeadpeople and sometimes -whosyourdaddy

wtf is campaign?

i never use whosyourdaddy cuz it takes the fun out of the game
