Logos

The 2nd is better, except for that white part on the right edge
Having Clan TMMM on the top and TMMM at the bottom on it feels redundant


Heres 2 more, they are the same, just slightly different versions





I like the 2nd one more

I wanted a darker version of the other 1 i posted, so i tried to invert the background
I messed up parts of it though, most noticeably her arm
I might fix it and change up the color, since i dont like the brownish orange that inverting it makes
Ill probably just stop working on it though

i think someone should consider using this image, it represents both sc2 and wc3. I tried makign sumthing wiht it but all i have is paint and paint scks

paint.net works well for editing photos. Google it.

If i had more time i would make some logos but im a little busy the next few days. Maybe if i get time or next week ill start making some logos

can really see the tmmm very well in either. Idk where it would really stand out with all of the different things happening in the photo

yeah i cant decide whether or not i want it to. it did a lot more in the original but downscaling played hell with the whole thing. had to sharpen it which threw the lighting out the window but its not too awful.

also all the wc peoples are 1 layer and all the sc is one layer (both are screen shots). i'd be able to make the stuff look a lot better if each unit was on its own but separating everything now is a bit too much work. so if ne1 has ne non ridiculous suggestions ill try em.

You should use Sinc (Lanczos) when you rescale, it seems to work the best
Thats what i did with the tauren marine, nova, and sc2/tmmm pics

The original nova pic was like 1600x1200 and i rescaled the whole thing to something like 400x250

The small sc2/tmmm image thats at the top of the first logo i put up today is huge but resized down that small without any problems when using lanczos


I actually like how that looks just by itself against this background

oh i didn't even think to put a ship thats a good idea and i was planning on changing the text a bit its not curved enough

the sc2 logo is cool but its purely sc2. would it b possible to put it in the forum category listings?

i like the idea of the skating demon hunter but the rine seems kinda arbitrary.

if you guys want i can put up a short tutorial on how to do some of the easier stuff for photoshop so u aren't limited to stock images n stuff.

You should make the text more curved around the rings, especially the TMMM part
And maybe use a different font

I like it better without the rine, but it looks empty without anything there, maybe put a ship there, like a battlecruiser or a viking or something

the banshees are way too big. cut em down to about a third or maybe a fourth that size and put them closer to the bc... mb move everything to the right a lil bit so it looks like they're moving towards the planet.

but yeah it definitely is lookin good. the more i look at the demon hunter the more i like it.

I had this kickass idea for a logo, but it turns out to be horribly impracticable
The logo ended up being 15mb, even after i drastically reduced the quality and cut frames

Here it is (if it even loads for you, may lag some computers):


236 frames, 311 layers (unmerged), like an hour and a half of putting it together and cant even use it

its still funny though pat

That took forever to load

I cut like 2/3rds of the frames out and got it down to 1.7mb, but its not smooth, and its really fast (playing it slower makes it even less smooth)
In another i cut 1/3rd of the frames, which makes it 7.5mb, and still plays pretty well
Still too large to be used as a logo though

the iPistol aims better plays awesome music and can also be used as a wii remote

This is a quick thing I threw together. I can still change the font and change clan tmmm to just tmmm.

Edit: just noticed i forgot to resize it. it wouldnt look much different at the logo size. I dont feel like editing it right now. Ill upload the resized one tomorrow
