I always thought that the devil created an evil chicken as a pet, which could spread evil by laying eggs, so god created a pet bunny to go deal with it
Putting the holy bunny and the evil chicken into an eternal struggle of good vs evil
The chicken spawning eggs full of pure unstoppable evil and the bunny collecting the eggs trying to hide them in an attempt to stop that evil
But people would occasionally find eggs and loved the evil feeling they got from consuming them so they started egg hunts to track down and find more of the eggs
Eventually they made small children into slaves by forcing them to go out and find the eggs for them for 3 months out of the year (march, april and may), killing any children that came back empty handed
The bunny's failure to hide some of the eggs well enough caused the children to be made into slaves, and his success at hiding some of the eggs was causing a mass genocide of small children every year, he just couldnt take it anymore, so he sold his body and soul to the devil in exchange for the chicken's destruction
So the devil turned the chicken into pure sugar, and ate it to consume its evil
When god heard that his pet had made a deal with the devil he was furious and encased the bunny's body in chocolate
When the bunny suffocated from being encased in chocolate his body and soul went to hell and the devil ate him because bunny is one of his favorite things to eat, the cuter they are the tastier, especially when coated in chocolate
There were still evil eggs to be found so the devil manipulated mankind into believing that finding eggs was fun and made sure any records of the mass genocide of children was lost after just a few generations
Three months was too long to look for eggs for fun so he managed to put it all on the day that god's son came back from the dead as a big "fuck you" to god and his family
He also got people to beleive that eating chocolate bunnies and peeps was part of it to just for a laugh
But that video you posted makes more sense if easter isnt supposed to be about consuming eggs of pure evil and killing small children
If that is the case then ive been celebrating easter horribly wrong for at least 5 years now
