Edge of the World

Nether portals work.

Me and pat went into my portal and then we went into it again and went to the edge of the world.

Then I was trapped in a ditch (well amaz is just a ditch, just dig the dirt and get out).
Well in the fucking nether portal you can't place blocks or kill blocks. SO i was legit trapped until pat killed me lol.

Me and amaz encountered a crazy glitch on server today

The end of the world
At first i thought it was a chunk error
But i rejoined and still saw it, and amaz saw it to
Also i threw a skeleton off the edge of the world and he fell (which wouldnt have happened if it was chunk error)





I was going to take a vid cause theres other crazyness there
Like you cant place blocks or take them, but creepers damage the land
And it was night there when it was day on the normal area
Also there was a tiny waterfall on the very edge on the outside that i wanted to ride down
But server shut down from an admin ive never seen

We got there via nether portal (we only tried using portals cause the server was at 1.7_01 somehow)
We took amazs portal to nether, then went to leave nether and ended up there
I ended up there first and amaz ended up back at his portal like normal (which is how we found out about the time differential
I walked pretty far from the portal and was still unable to modify blocks

I dont know about amaz but im sorta trapped there, i went in and out of the portal several times and always only go between the nether and the edge of the world
Never back to amazs portal
I guess ill just die but i left all my stuff in 1of amazs chests before we went, it better all be there amaz

If you put your stuff in my chest by the nether portal, it was all gone. I checked b4 I went in and was like that was odd...

Secondly. WTF.

I didnt put it in that chest
I was afraid the portal might explode and destroy the chest when we entered it
Seems like something cd would do to prevent people from causing it to bug out

Same thing happened to me when i went in. I entered, couldnt destroy anything, the server crashed, i log back in, go through portal and end up at the edge of the world. This was all when cd was on though, so he came to me and teleported me back to the hub world. That was why I put the sign in front of pat's portal.

It said it was because of power outage or something.

when you go into the nether from any portal, it seems we dont have permission to do anything there

and when you try to leave it takes you to that nether portal you all went to, which isnt the same world at all

it appears to be a different world from smp, and probably pvp where we dont have permissions to do anything there

i figured out a way to glitch myself out of the nether and end up in the hub but since the permissions for the nether dont work theres no point



edit: actually i realized that ghasts blew up the ground and left the blocks so me and venom managed to get 80ish netherrack ;D

cd said he would work on permissions in he nether. Im not entirely sure what he will do about returning to the right portal. What he could do is create a smaller portal area that takes people back to the hub world.
